When Short On Time....Mini It Up!

My new "thing" to do after a days worth of work around the house, and living it up with Miss Kitty, is to rush downstairs during Thomas & Friends (the little blue train, you know what I'm talking about) and in 5 mins think of and grab the ingredients for a mini scene.  Very relaxing!

And I always have a little helper wanting to "see" and "help" and "make miniatures" with me which brightens my day.

  1. I think it's lovely that Miss Kitty gets to help. I think you have a miniaturist in the making there =0D

    1. Thank you Pepper....I sure hope so! After all, this will be her inheritance! Plus, she's a great set of extra hands

  2. Great scenes! It takes me a lot longer because I always think of some additional piece for a scene and then I can't remember where I put it!

  3. Hi Kat! I love what you are able to accomplish in % minutes but I love even more that you think to include Miss Kitty when you do it! A couple of years ago when I first discovered the internet tutorials on youtube, I would regularly watch GARDEN OF IMAGINATION miniature tutes primarily to listen to the exchanges between the mother and her daughter as they made fimo "whatever's" together. The mother was actively involved with her very young daughter even as she was teaching and the camera was rolling. It impressed me very much then, and now YOU have impressed me too!:D

    1. thank you so much Elizabeth. It really is a special time we share when we "mini it up" together. I've now gifted her some of my more hardy (metal) minis that she plays with...from her dolls to her trains, everyone gets a turn on them. And you should see the child handle her tools and work in the garden. She's a mini me!
